What’s Your Social Media IQ?

Probably higher than mine.  I am still working on social media engagement and figure it will be a work-in-progress for some time.  Check out this blog post from one of my favorite bloggers.  That was posted last month and not much has changed.  In social media timeframes, that’s really, really bad.  Clearly, this blogger has a lot to learn and it doesn’t appear it’s happening too fast.

Oh, darn.  I just realized you can see who posted that blog.  Ummmmm, yes, that’s me.  I am my own favorite blogger, if you believe what you read.  That’s actually not true but I was hoping to get you to click on the link.  Did that work?  Did you go there?  Yeah, I still have work to do.  I found this great blog on the web that has some good insight, so it’s probably worth digging into a bit more.  That link isn’t to my blog, so please check it out!

Blogging is all about starting a conversation.  It’s not successful if there’s no engagement, however.  It really can be like you’re talking to yourself; you know, like writing in a diary.  Except for pouring out thoughts on paper, I’m not sure what good a diary was for.

I do think I’m still trying to find my wings, but that’s no excuse.  Going back to school has been a way to give that voice some volume.  Still working on the refinements!  If you’re interested in finding your wings, check out Peninsula College.  It’s a great place to fly!  #PeninsulaCollege
